Meet the Maker

Andrea Serafino has been teaching and exhibiting ceramics in the Cleveland area for more than 25 years. Trained at the Cleveland Institute of Art, she’s known as a generous, down‑to‑earth teacher who shares her wheel throwing, hand‑building, and clay sculpture techniques with students of all levels. Andrea has helped shape Cleveland’s art community through her work with Artcraft Studios, SPACES Gallery, and East/West Alternative Gallery. Today, she directs Beachwood Ceramic Guild, offering studio space to ceramic artists and welcoming, affordable classes for both adults and children. The studio is also available for small events and workshops.
